Dust Monitor Calibration & Adjustment Service

SUPPORT

Introduction

Ensuring reliable and accurate dust measurement is critical for environmental compliance, process control, and plant safety.

Matsushima Measure Tech provides professional calibration and adjustment services for PFM series triboelectric dust monitors, helping you maintain measurement integrity throughout the equipment lifecycle.

Why Calibration Is Required for Dust Monitors

Over time, the output of triboelectric dust monitors can drift due to operating conditions such as:

  • Changes in dust characteristics (particle size, material, charge behavior)
  • Long-term exposure to process gas flow and temperature
  • Aging of electronic components
  • Accumulation or wear on the probe surface

Regular calibration ensures that your PFM dust monitor continues to provide reliable, repeatable, and compliant measurements, supporting environmental regulations, ISO-based quality systems, and internal management standards.

Our Calibration & Adjustment Services

This service is available for customers using Matsushima Measure Tech dust monitors and is designed to verify the operational integrity of existing dust monitoring equipment, either through on-site inspection or by returning the unit to our factory.

Dust Monitor Calibration Service

Calibration (Inspection)

We verify the current output characteristics of your dust monitor by comparing them against Matsushima’s original factory inspection standards.

This process identifies any deviation in measurement performance accumulated during operation.

Adjustment (Correction)

If deviations are found, the instrument is adjusted to bring the output back within specified tolerances.
This ensures the dust monitor performs as intended and restores confidence in your measurement data.

Service Options

To minimize impact on your operation, we offer two flexible service methods.

On-Site Calibration & Adjustment

Our field engineers visit your facility to perform calibration and adjustment directly at the installation site.
