Rotary Paddle Level Switch is a point-level sensor that detects the presence or absence of bulk solid materials by monitoring the rotation resistance of a motor-driven paddle. When the vessel is empty, the paddle rotates freely. When material reaches the paddle, the increased mechanical load slows or stops its rotation, triggering an internal microswitch to provide a level signal.
Simple electromechanical design with few moving parts consistently detects bulk solid materials across a wide density range and ensures easy maintenance.
Stable detection for such material which dielectric constant is low or varies and may make the level detection unstable.
Provides reliable point-level detection at a low cost compared to advanced electronics sensors.

Sintered alloy bearing with a dual-layer seal and mum-type structure prevents dust ingress into the sensor.
Even in the unlikely event of seal breakage, it is difficult to cause dust clogging and ingress.

Slip mechanism for shock absorption is integrated to absorb physical impact at the paddle or shaft.

The inner electrical board unit is detachable and easy to replace with a spare unit.
Rotary paddle level switch operates by rotating a motor-driven paddle inside a silo or hopper.
When no material is present, the paddle turns freely at a constant speed.
When bulk solids reach the paddle, the material’s resistance slows or stops its rotation, causing the internal mechanism to actuate a microswitch.
This switch provides a signal indicating material presence.
Once the material falls away, the paddle resumes free rotation, returning the switch to its normal state.
