80GHz Radar Level Transmitter is a non-contact FMCW device that provides highly accurate level measurement with a very narrow beam angle, enabling reliable performance in small or complex silos and tanks. Its high-frequency operation ensures stable measurement even with low-dielectric media, vapor, dust or condensation, making ideal for demanding industrial environments.
Maintenance-less non-contact operation offers long-term stability with minimal workload in harsh industrial environments.
Narrow beam angle allows reliable measurement in small silos/tanks, long nozzles or vessels with internal obstructions.
The high frequency FMCW operation provides enough strong reflection even with low-dielectric media, vapor, dust or condensation

Monitoring and adjustment via Bluetooth with PC, mobile phone or tablet possible.
Wiring for data communication is not necessary.
Remote communication to harsh environment possible.

Adhesion or buildup alarm available with the patented beat-signal annunciation (DC4-20mA).
No extra wiring required for the alarm.

360-degree omnidirectional air purging structure on the transmitting surface in order to prevent adhesion due to dust or vapor.
80GHz radar level transmitter operates on the FMCW (Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave) principle, in which a continuous millimeter-wave signal is linearly frequency-swept toward the material surface.
The reflected echo returns with a frequency shift proportional to the distance traveled.
By performing frequency-domain analysis on this beat frequency, the system precisely determines the level.
