Conductive level switch detects liquid level by utilizing the electrical conductivity of the process liquid. When the liquid comes into contact with the sensing electrode(s), it completes an electrical circuit between the electrode and a reference electrode, triggering a switch output. This simple principle is suitable for conductive liquids such as water, wastewater, etc.
Simple construction with few components without moving parts reduces initial cost and minimizes maintenance requirements.
Direct level detection based on liquid conductivity ensures stable switching with minimal risk of malfunction.
Detection points are freely changed at the site by cutting the electrode.

Enables cost-effective multi-point level detection (Max. 6 points) with one unit.

Applicable to wide variety of liquids by changing the electrode material.

The electrode coating other than tip area avoids malfunction due to the contact with suspended solids in vapor, etc.
Conductive level switch is used with a relay unit, and it operates based on the electrical conductivity of the process liquid.
One or more sensing electrodes are installed at the preset detection points with a separate reference electrode serving as the common electrode.
When the liquid level rises and contacts a sensing electrode, the conductive liquid completes an electrical circuit between the electrode and the reference, allowing a small sensing current to flow.
This change in conductivity is detected by the relay unit and converted into a switch output.
When the liquid level falls below the electrode, the circuit opens and the output resets.
