Dust Switch is a triboelectric principle dust leak detector that detects the presence of dust in gas streams by sensing the electrostatic charge generated when particles collide with a detecting probe. When the dust concentration exceeds a preset threshold, the generated triboelectric signal is converted into a relay or digital output, enabling reliable dust presence or leakage detection.
Supports predictive maintenance by the 24 hours continuous monitoring. Possible to use filters up to the end.
Enables immediate identification of filter failure or leakage, helping prevent environmental violations and unplanned shutdowns.
Detects unexpected sudden filter breaks or dust leakage and supports workplace safety as well as stable process operation.

Lightweight and compact design with essential functions suitable for small industrial dust collectors.

Provides continuous monitoring in place of human observation.
When the dust concentration exceeds a preset threshold, it outputs a signal.

The open-collector output (NPN) is directly connectable to PLC input.
Triboelectric dust switch operates based on the triboelectric effect generated by particulate matter flowing in a gas stream.
When dust particles strike or pass through the sensing probe, electrical charges are transferred between the particles and the probe surface.
The resulting charge transfer and induced current are detected as an electrical signal whose magnitude is proportional to the concentration.
This signal is continuously processed by the monitor electronics, and it outputs a signal when the dust concentration exceeds a preset threshold.
