Summary

Air Particle Monitor continuously measures airborne particulate concentration to assess air quality and process conditions.
Using optical sensing principles, it detects and quantifies suspended particles in real time, providing stable and reliable data for environmental monitoring, cleanrooms and industrial applications.

Benefits

Improved Air Quality Control

Enables early detection of particulate level changes, allowing prompt corrective action to maintain safe air quality.

Operational Risk Reduction

Early identification of abnormal particle generation helps prevent equipment contamination, process failures and unplanned downtime.

Cost Reduction

Early identification of such abnormal situations lowers overall maintenance and operating costs.

Operating Principle

Air dust monitor operates based on an optical scattering measurement principle.

For example, when a flashlight is shone into a dark space, dust particles suspended in the air become visible.

This is because light emitted from the flashlight is scattered by airborne particles, and the scattered light reaches the observer’s eyes.

This phenomenon represents the basic principle of the optical scattering method.

By replacing the flashlight with a laser diode and the human eye with a photodiode that detects scattered light at a specific angle, the light scattered by dust particles is converted into an electrical signal, enabling measurement of fine particle concentration and particle count.

In addition, a built-in sampling (induction) fan is incorporated to draw suspended fine particles into the sensing chamber for stable and continuous measurement.
