Speed Switch is a safety sensor to monitor the operating speed of belt conveyors or heavy machineries and detect under-speed, overspeed or slippage. When abnormal speed is detected, it triggers an alarm or shutdown signal for ensuring safe operation.
Possible to prevent fire accident and blocking chute situation caused by conveyor belt slippage.
Possible to detect conveyor belt breakage immediate when it happens to minimize the loss caused by the material spillage.
Possible to reduce workload for the site cleaning because above accidents are less.

Adjustable at the site by pushing the button one time only so that it detects the rated speed and automatically set the tripping point. (One-Push Model)

No consumable parts because of the non-contact detection principle.

Integrated Type, Sensor Separated Type, Transducer In-Panel Mounting Type and Touch Roller Type constructions are available. Ultra-Low Speed Detection Type (0.1 to 99.9rpm) available as well.
Speed Switch is a proximity sensor type non-contact principle.
It monitors the rotational speed of a conveyor pulley or shaft by detecting pulse generated from a target (such as metallic plate, key or gear tooth) mounted on the rotating element.
When the pulse frequency drops below (or raises over) the preset level, it outputs an alarm or stop signal to protect the conveyor or machinery.
