Chute Switch is a safety switch installed on the transferring chute of a belt conveyor to detect chute blockage during material handling. When material buildup or obstruction occurs inside the chute, the switch senses abnormal pressure or flow restriction and immediately triggers an alarm or shutdown signal to prevent overflow, spillage, facility damage and operational downtime. It provides reliable, real-time detection and enhances safe, continuous conveyor operation.
Possible to avoid dust generation and emission to the surroundings by preventing overflow due to the chute blockage.
Possible to prevent facility damage and fire accident due to the chute blockage.
Possible to prevent quality defects at the next production process due to lack of transporting material.

Matsushima Measure Tech Chute Switch is the side wall mounting system and there is no projections inside the chute.

No power supply required because it is mechanical detection system by internal limit switches.

Intrinsically Safe Ex-proof System (Exia II c) is available by combination with the optional Relay Barrier.
Chute switch detects material blockage in a conveyor chute by mechanical deflection.
When bulk material accumulates due to a chute jam, the resulting pressure pushes the detection plate, which mechanically actuates an internal limit switch.
The switch outputs a signal to trigger an alarm or stop the conveyor. Once the blockage is cleared, the detection plate returns to its original position, and the switch automatically resets.
