Belt Sway Switch

Belt Sway Switch is a safety sensor to detect conveyor belt misalignment or lateral deviation during operation. When the conveyor belt drifts beyond the allowable limit, it sends an alarm or shutdown signal to prevent damage of belt and facility.

Possible to prevent material drop caused by conveyor belt misalignment or drift.

Possible to reduce workload for the site cleaning because material drop is less.

Possible to prevent facility damage, conveyor belt break or fire accident caused by belt drift.

Standard detecting angle is 1) 20deg for Alarm and 2) 35deg for shutdown. This detecting angle is adjustable as factory option.

IP67 weather-proof, d2G4 flame-proof, SDP13 dust ignition-proof and IECEx constructions are available.

Detecting Pulley is consumable parts because it's directly contacted with conveyor belt and it is replaceable.

Belt Sway Switch installed alongside the conveyor monitors lateral misalignment of the conveyor belt.

When the belt drifts and presses against the detecting pulley, the pulley shaft rotates and accordingly the internal cam drum rotates to operate microswitches for signal and stopping the conveyor.
